DESCRIPTION

Phase II: Dredging: 1.935.400m3, reclamation: 896.000m3, rock armouring protection works of reclamation area: 32.190m3, construction of 210m quaywall at foundation depth of -13,50m made of concrete blocks weighing up to105tons.

Formation of 75.000m2 land area for handling & storage of containers, filling of the area with dredged material and compaction by preloading.

Phase III: Extension of main breakwater by 598 m, construction of 710m new lee breakwater. Total quantity for construction of the breakwater’s core and the armouring filter layers with quarry run material and rocks : 581.300 m3.
Construction and placement of armouring prefabricated concrete elements “Acropodes”: 55.109 m3 and casting in-situ reinforced concrete wall : 1343 m3.
Dredging works: 92.174 m3, from the initial sea bottom depth of -3,00m to the final depth of -11,00m .
