PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Technical Study-Construction of the installation of a system for the
collection of gas from the existing sanitary landfill of Amman
The project included:
(a) Slope formation and final coverage of the cells 2 and 3 of the landfill
(b) System for storage of gaseous effluents, condensation removal and
combustion
(c) Drain collection and recycling system
(d) Installation of gas bellows
(e) Operation of the plant

TECHNICAL DATA

  • Construction of 518 wells
  • Installation of 360,000 m2 geotextile and equal amount of GCL
  • Installation of 30,000m plastic tube of 90mm diameter and
    5,000m plastic tube of 160mm
  • Gas propulsion system with blowers and torch combustion,
    capacity 2,000 m3 / h
  • Installation of 18 submersible drainage and 2 recirculation
    pumps
